Audience Theories

Research into the different audience theories is important as it allows me to see what has been perceived through reasearch carried out on media as a whole. This will benefit me hugely as it will be able to give me a viewpoint on the different theories, and what they show about the audiences who are heavily involved in using media. Furthermore when creating my media horror trailer, it may come to mind on how my trailer will be able to relate to at least on of the theories. This will then have an interesting effect as it almost gives me as a student an experience in the way audiences may react to the horror trailer created.
